I wonder how the hell did they come up with this kind of idea. A fire extinguisher with a water sprinkler. I was at the HR Office of our company when I saw this. I was thinking that it was just a joke but I think I'm wrong. I'm wrong because I've seen another thing like this at the hallway. I was just wondering how the system goes. Its like a 2 in 1 fire fighting machine. I don't know if its the Filipino invented this since Filipinos are clever. Well, this is good and amazing. :D

This picture was taken while I'm still inside the plane. I was with my cousin who's planning to apply in the Philippine Navy. I visited my girlfriend in Davao last March and since Zest Air is cheap, we decided to buy ticket from this airline company. I violated a rule by doing this, right?

Its like I have been addicted to Sepia this past few days. Been taking pictures using sepia mode. Anyway, its lunch time and me and my Girlfriend cooked our food. She planned to fry the "Adobo" so I saved a little soup of it in a bowl. Saw this circles from oils and was interested in it. So I took my phone, configured the settings and took this photo.

Wishing Bell at Bohol Island Philippines

Got this shot from one of the hills in Chocolate Hills in Bohol Island. They call it the wishing bell. You just have to drop some coins in a basin below the bell and then drag the rope connected to the bell's "BALLS" to make the bell ring. After a few seconds, you just lost a dime in your pocket. Anyway, its like a tradition to us Filipinos believing in something like this.

Was just sitting on a couch when I feel the urge of taking a picture of my wrist watch. Of all the watches that I have, this is my favorite before my Timex Digital Watch. Its not expensive as what do my friends is telling me but it is really elegant. I was so impressed of this shot because of the focus. Though I know that my phone's camera has an Auto-Focus feature, this is the only shot that has a very nice quality on the set I made. Just sharing this picture to ya'll.

Last week, my girlfriend came to Manila to visit her Mother and Me? Hmm. We both agreed to exchange phones when she'll be going back to Davao. I feel fine that "Cammy" will be with her coz I know that she won't Cammy. Oh, by the way, she named my phone N82 as Cammy. It was agreed that I will get Cammy back from her when I'll visit Davao. When I paid visit to her last weekend, I was so amazed of this shot that she got from her room. She really has an artistic idea. I feel like I'm shrinking because she's good and better than me when it comes to taking quality pictures. So here it is, showing her wonderful shot.

Hiding Sunset

I went to this mall in Pasay City because I was craving for a sunset shot. I waited for an hour but nothing showed up. So I was like really frustrated of getting a quality shot but nothing really showed up. So I just took this photo and voila! Due to frustrations, I got this simple photo that really satisfy my crave that time. Next time I will have a quality sunset shot. Soon! If I'll get back to Davao where my phone is with my Girl. :D

Katol Shot!

Do you know what the hell is this thing? Its an anti-insect device used by Filipinos. You need to light this shit up and then voila! It will produce a smoke that's gonna kill those insects! Lol! Well, after I woke up that morning, I saw the formation of its ashes and was amazed with it so I decided to take a photo of it. With the image effect, I decided to took the photo using Negative Effect so that the background is not that clear since its pretty obvious that its all dirt behind it.

Intramuros Street Lamp

Maybe I'm just fond of taking a picture of lamps so here's another lamp shot from Intramuros. Me and my Aunt were actually touring my cousin in Manila late afternoon. First destination is The National Museum, next is Rizal Park and then last stop is Intramuros. It was Sunday so we decided to attend the mass at the San Agustin Church inside Intramuros. After the mass, we decided to part ways since I need to drop my cousin to my other Aunt at Las Piñas. While walking to the jeepney stop, I saw this old lamps on the streets of Intramuros. It really attracts me knowing that its a century old. I don't know but yeah, I think its a century old lamp. I just like the simplicity of the shot. I got a good credit from a friend in this shot. Hope you'll like it.

Divisoria Today

This shot was taken like October last year when me and my cousin were eating at this certain restaurant at Tutuban Mall. We were so tired walking the street so we decided to take our lunch there. That time, I made a decision to myself that I'm not gonna step my shoe inside that restaurant again because of their out of this world foods. Well, I'm not really sure if that's just the way they cook their chicken but I really don't like it. Well, enough with the food, let's go back to the photo. Inside that restaurant, I was shocked by the scene that I've seen outside because it was totally new to me. The last time I went to Divisoria was like it was hell. Its too hot, people are walking around and you get bump to them and of course, the "TIANGGE" in the middle of the street. Then there's this new scene for me, totally new, that struck my eyes. Is this really the new Divisoria? No stores in the middle of the streets, jeeps can pass by and people don't get bumped with each other. Well, this one is cool so I decided to take a photo of it. I just hope that it won't change no more.

What is Maniniyot ( mah-nee-nee-yot) ?

When you first hear the word, you would think its real awkward or should I say its a bit naughty (that is if you are a green minded person). I told my friend about this new blog that I have just created and gave her the link and told me that the blog title was funny. Funny because she said that it has a double meaning. As for me, this word doesn't really have a double meaning. The word Maniniyot is a Bisaya word of Photographer. Bisaya is a dialect in the Philippines commonly used by people from Visayas Islands and Mindanao Islands. I hope you'll like this blog specially my shots.

About my Camera

I am not a professional photographer and I don't own a DSLR camera not even a point-and-shoot camera. I only have two mobile phones with me. An N82 and N6630 both made by Nokia. So if you would notice that some of my shots doesn't have a good quality, maybe because I am only using a Camera Phone. Well, I have some of my shots posted here where I used a point-and-shoot camera from a friend or from a family. So please, just bear with my shots. Thank you and I hope you enjoyed your visit here in my blog.

I have received any good and bad comments about my shots and I like it because I know that this can make me a good "Maniniyot".
